In November 2021, Sandro took a major step forward by launching its own resale program in partnership with Faume.The objective: to offer a circular alternative to its community, while leveraging the quality and desirability of its pieces.Following a successful online debut, the program quickly expanded to stores with a trade-in service available across the entire Sandro network. In 2024, the initiative goes international with the launch of the resale service in seven new countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

The challenge: accelerate sell-through and broaden the audience

After a promising start, Sandro faced three key challenges:

- Increase the visibility of its second-hand offer beyond its owned channels

- Improve the sell-through speed of refurbished pieces, with steadily growing inventory

- Reach a new audience, younger, more digitally engaged, and already active in the second-hand market

The solution: distribution on Choose via Faume Marketplace Solution

To meet this challenge, Sandro relied on Faume Marketplace Solution, a connector that enables brands to distribute their second-hand inventory across partner marketplaces.

Thanks to this technology:

- Items are selected based on criteria defined by the brand (quality, seasonality, and pricing)

- The product feed is sent and synchronized with the Choose marketplace via API, ensuring alignment with the platform’s taxonomy and standards

- Sales are updated in real time, preventing stockouts and duplicates

In parallel, a one-week event was organized on the Choose website and app, with dedicated editorial and marketing visibility.

This operation was supported by a 360° media plan, led and funded by Choose, including:

- Teasing stories, launch stories, last-chance stories, and Reels

- Targeted Meta Ads campaigns

- A dedicated newsletter for the sale

- Push notifications within the Choose app
